พิธีกรรม ต้นไม้ อาหาร เพศภาวะ และพื้นที่ ได้ก่อเกิดขึ้นนับจากวันที่ปอยผมถูกตัดและฝังลงใต้ต้นไม้ที่นำมาเป็นอาหาร กระทำเหล่านี้ถูกลงมือโดยปู่และพ่อซึ่งเป็นเพศชาย และผลอ่อนของอาหารได้ถูกนำมาปรุงรสซึ่งอาจหมายถึงการตัดเพศ ตัดความเติบใหญ่ที่จะโตสมบูรณ์เป็นฝั่งใด เมื่อครั้นในวัยเด็กการกำเนิดเป็นเพศหญิงในท่ามกลางญาติเพศตรงข้าม อาจกำกับแก่นแกนของความเป็นคนใดคนหนึ่ง เมื่อเติบใหญ่จนปรากฏความก้ำกึ่ง ดึงรั้งภายในตัวตน จากพื้นที่เก่าเดิมเมื่อออกไปสู่พื้นที่ที่กว้างกว่า วัยเด็กได้ผ่านพ้นไปพร้อมกับความเติบใหญ่ของวัย ปรากฏความใคร่อยากยืนหยัดสภาวะภายในที่ผสมปนเป ความกว้างร้างของพื้นที่ภายนอกได้เคลื่อนสู่ภายในจิตใจ ที่พร้อมปรารถนาสลายครอบชั้นที่แบ่งฟากฝั่ง อาจพบกายเปลือยเปล่า ผ่าน ‘ฉัน’ ผู้ที่ประสบ รู้สึกนึกคิด กำลังบอกเล่าเรื่องราวภายในตัวตน จากแรกเริ่มค่าตั้งต้นความเป็นเรา ถ่ายทอดผ่านผลงานศิลปะ จนสลายไปสู่ภาวะแห่งความไม่เป็นอะไรที่ถือว่ามาดหมายในความเป็นเรา

Rituals, trees, food, genders, and spaces are constructed ever since the locks of my hair are cut and buried under a tree, which later produces food. These actions are performed by my grandfather and father who are male. Unripe fruits are cooked, and this probably implies the gender and growth which are omitted from being specifically defined. During the childhood, being born as a female among the male relatives probably determines my essence. Later on, an ambiguity in myself appears in the adulthood due to the fact that I have stepped out from my old space to the broader one. The time of childhood has passed and been replaced with an old age. It comes a desire to persist in my ambiguous self. An abandoned expansion of the external space crawls into my mind – the mind which is ready to desert the binary opposition. The naked self may be found through ‘I’ who face with, think over, and is telling stories within myself. Self is firstly expressed through an artwork and finally shatters into a state of nothingness, which is expected from self itself.
