Piyathida Inta
(B. 1998, Chiang Mai, Thailand)
was born and resides in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
She completed her Multidisciplinary Art degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Visual Art at Chiang Mai University. Her works are a result of her interest in the intersections and divisions of gender, gender identity, and gender roles within social contexts, spaces, and identities. She has explored these themes within both internal and external environments, fostering diversity.
Additionally, she delves into the possibilities of genderlessness. She also explores social changes that occur during the transition from adolescence, the evolution of thought, and the exploration of the original beliefs within her birthplace. Furthermore, she examines the evolving meanings of contemporary existence, which are changing rapidly. Her works emphasize significant narratives and experiences that surround her. She expresses her ideas through various forms of art, including moving images, live performances, and installations.
